Gender

Gender and equality issues are fully related to the mission of promoting social justice. So the work with the LGTBIQ community is done with the collaboration of local collectives and organizations and artists whose practices address the issue of gender equality and rights.

With the Antioquia Trans collective and in association with the Divas Gallery, an exercise was carried out to map the violence to which these women are exposed in the city with the artists in residence Erica Thomas and Amelie Cabocel.

Scope

Period of realization of the laboratories: 5 weeks .

Participants: 5 - 10 Members of the Antioquia Trans collective

Partners: Casa Tres Patios, Divas Gallery

Pachaqueer

The Pachaqueer collective, as a residency project, carried out a four (4) session laboratory. The objective of the space was to generate processes of (de) formation, (re) action and critical thinking so that trans bodies, transvestites, monsters, sexual dissidents, contrasexual identities and other non-hegemonic corporalities could configure a space of trust and collective experimentation on their identities.

The PachaQueer workshop was held in collaboration with other spaces in the city such as La Casa - Centro Cultural. These alliances allowed us to expand the networks of Casa Tres Patios by entering into dialogue with people and organizations that have similar objectives to the Foundation, focused on promoting social justice in populations affected by hegemonic systems of oppression.

Scope

Period of realization of the laboratories: 4 weeks .

Participants: 30 (approx.) Trans bodies, transvestites, monsters, sexual dissidents, contrasexual identities and other non-hegemonic corporalities.

Partners: Casa Tres Patios, La Casa - Cultural Center
